Of course, with the attention somewhat diverted towards Kylian Mbappe and his unresolved future.

In the preview of this confrontation, there was more talk about whether the Ultras would whistle at Kylian Mbappe than about Luis Enrique's alternatives in the absence of Goncalo Ramos, his starting number 9. Well, the Parisian number 7 was applauded by his fans, and Lucho opted to put Marco Asensio to replace the Portuguese striker.

The Rouge et Bleu came out with the following starting XI, in a 4-3-3 system: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Skriniar, Hernandez - Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha - Dembele, Asensio, Mbappe. The visitors lined up the following team: Samba - Gradit, Danso, Medina - Frankowski, Abdul Samed, Diouf, Machado - Thomasson, Fulgini - Sotoca.
