This summer, PSG is looking to strengthen its left wing. Several names have been mentioned in recent weeks, including Jadon Sancho. The club from the French capital continues to negotiate with Manchester United in an attempt to secure the English international.

One of PSG’s top priorities during this transfer window is to acquire a left winger. The number one target was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but the club faced resistance from Napoli’s management, who were unwilling to sell their Georgian international, despite an agreement with PSG.

As a result, PSG has shifted its focus to other options, including Jadon Sancho. The English international, who was loaned to Dortmund last winter, is not expected to be retained by Manchester United, with whom he is under contract until June 2026.

This Friday, journalist Duncan Castles discussed this case in his podcast. He indicated that while Jadon Sancho is not PSG’s top priority, discussions are indeed taking place between the Parisian club and the Red Devils. These talks have reportedly progressed to the point of discussing a potential agreement. Duncan Castles also mentioned that it was Manchester United who suggested Jadon Sancho’s name to PSG during negotiations for Manuel Ugarte.

According to the journalist, Manchester United offered €50 million to PSG for the former Sporting CP player, but the French club refused, as they are holding out for €60 million to let go of their number 4.

Regarding Jadon Sancho, Duncan Castles also noted that PSG has some concerns about the player’s temperament, as he had issues with Erik ten Hag at Manchester before his loan departure in January. The journalist concluded by explaining that PSG is questioning whether the Englishman can adapt to Luis Enrique’s playing philosophy.
