Brazil international Marquinhos was expected back in Paris this Thursday but he brought a surprise with him to PSG: Neymar joined him and both are already training at Camp des Loges!

Early on Wednesday, before the match between PSG and Quevilly (3-1 victory for Paris Saint-Germain), it was reported that Kylian Mbappe had already returned from his World Cup. It was later known that Achraf Hakimi had already arrived in Paris ahead of schedule to join his friend at Camp des Loges.

Paris Saint-Germain have even more reasons to be happier today than they already were yesterday: Marquinhos came back on the date we all expected but he brought Neymar with him!

We had not heard that much about Neymar after Brazil got eliminated from the World Cup. We don't need to anymore as now we know that Brazil's and PSG's no. 10 is back in the French capital and on the training ground.

The official account of PSG confirmed the return of both Brazil internationals early on Thursday, Dec. 22, not even 24 hours after the friendly against Quevilly finished on a 3-1 PSG triumph.

Considering Christophe Galtier and the rest of the PSG staff had given players a 10-day rest period after getting eliminated from the World Cup, and with all three of Messi, Hakimi, and Mbappe making it all the way to the final two days of play, it was expected to see them off the PSG facilities at least until the New Year.

With the latter two arriving on Wednesday and now joined by the Brazilian duo of Marquinhos and Neymar, it's just Messi enjoying a few days off while celebrating his and Argentina's World Cup victory.

Are we worried about Messi? Not really, judging by the latest news surrounding La Pulga and the unofficially official extension of his contract with PSG!

All four of Mbappe, Hakimi, Marquinhos, and Neymar remain doubtful to appear in PSG's first official game back facing Strasbourg next Wednesday, Dec. 28 as part of the Ligue 1 match day 16 when the competition returns after the World Cup break.

That said, we can rule that out entirely as there is still about a week of training ahead and Hakimi and Mbappe have taken just a few days off international duty to return to PSG while Ney and Marqui have already had more than a few days off the ground getting eliminated in the quarter-finals by Croatia.
