Luis Enrique provided his insights following PSG's challenging yet successful match against Lille, which concluded on the third day of Ligue 1. Despite the team's overall dominance in the game, they faced difficulties, particularly in the second half.

The coach noted that the team had played three official matches and struggled to maintain their performance as the game wore on. Luis Enrique reflected on the game:

"We've played three official matches, and we struggled to finish the game strongly. Lille almost equalized, but in the end, we managed to secure the win. It was very difficult to come out on top; it felt like a Champions League match."

He acknowledged that Lille, with their tactical adjustments, posed a significant challenge, which led to PSG making several errors. Despite these issues, Enrique expressed satisfaction with the overall performance, emphasizing that the match was as tough as a Champions League encounter.

He further commented on the team's physical condition, pointing out the discrepancies in player fitness levels. Enrique expressed a preference for having strong competition in every position, which he believes motivates players to perform better.

"As for the players’ varying fitness levels, it’s challenging for them. I prefer to have two top players for each position, with players who are hungry for success. It’s tough to play in this team, and they need to prove themselves."

With the international break coming up, he noted that most of his players would be away on national team duties, which might give him the chance to visit friends and family. Enrique's focus remains on continuous improvement, addressing each challenge step by step as the season progresses.
