Lieke Martens nominated for Goal of the Season

Paris Saint-Germain's Lieke Martens has been nominated for Goal of the Season. The Dutch international joined PSG from Barcelona last summer; she's only scored a total of three goals so far, but one so impactful it's nominated for goal of the season.

Martens is up against Christy Gavory of Le Havre, Montpellier's Faustine Robert, and Madeline Roth from Dijon.

The winner will be announced during the Trophees D1 Arkema on May 15th.

This is an award ceremony where players will be given awards based on the current season, as we've reached the final few matchdays of the 2022/23 season.

That ends the same day as PSG Feminine's clash with city rivals, Paris FC. And the men's team travels to play Troyes, a must-win game for them (especially after that loss against Lorient).
