Grace Geyoro has been nominated for the First Division's Player of the Month for April. She is there alongside Julie Piga from FC Fleury and Faustine Robert of Montpellier HSC.
The PSG no. 8 had herself an extraordinary month of April. She was a standout player with her country during the break and then returned to score the winner against Guingamp on the previous matchday for Paris to grab their three points.
This would be Geyoro's first time claiming this honor if shes' successful in doing so. This would also be Paris Saint-Germain's eighth time having a player win this, and she would become the fifth Paris player to achieve this.
Geyoro would be joining: Kadidiatou Diani, Marie Antoniette-Katoto, Sakina Karchaoui, and former player Sara Dabritz in taking home this award (all since 2020).
Diani is the only PSG player this season to win this so far, all the way back in October 2022.
In 2023, only Lyon players have been triumphant thus far, but for April, it will be the first time this year that another team and player will have this achievement.
