By Manuel Meza
To strengthen its central defense, PSG is considering Dean Huijsen. However, the club is not alone in pursuing this player. The Spanish-Dutch player is expected to decide his future soon.
Since the transfer window opened on June 10, PSG has made only one significant move, recruiting Matvey Safonov from Krasnodar for 20 million euros. Despite being linked to numerous players, PSG has yet to secure additional recruits.
The club intends to strengthen all positions, and in central defense, Dean Huijsen's name has been mentioned for a few weeks. Currently with Juventus Turin, the 19-year-old central defender is not expected to be retained. Besides PSG, Dean Huijsen is also being targeted by Bayer Leverkusen, Bournemouth, and Stuttgart.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Wolfsburg, Monaco, and Aston Villa have shown interest in the Spanish-Dutch talent, who is still under contract with Juventus until June 2028. The transfer market specialist indicates that Dean Huijsen is expected to decide on his career soon.
Bournemouth and Stuttgart are pushing to close the deal this week, according to Romano. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Juventus, who are still looking to sell Dean Huijsen, is asking for 18 million euros plus bonuses and 20% of a future resale.
Dean Huijsen's decision will be closely watched as multiple clubs vie for his signature.
