This Tuesday the French team will face Spain in the Euro 2024 semi-finals. Two PSG players are expected to start the match.

In the final four of Euro 2024, France will compete against Fabian Ruiz's Spain on Tuesday night in the semi-finals. Heavily criticized for their playing style, Didier Deschamps might once again field a different starting eleven to counter a Spanish team that has impressed since the beginning of the tournament. One of the team's key players could be the casualty of this tactical shift.

France vs Spain, Deschamps' bold lineup

While no changes are anticipated in defense with the starting positions of Jules Kounde, Dayot Upamecano, William Saliba, and Theo Hernandez, the midfield is expected to see Adrien Rabiot returning as a starter.

Suspended against Portugal, the former Parisian is likely to reclaim his spot alongside Aurelien Tchouameni and N’Golo Kante. Consequently, Eduardo Camavinga, who performed excellently against the Portuguese, might find himself back on the bench.

However, the main change is expected to occur in the attack. Following a powerful performance off the bench against the Selecao das Quinas, Ousmane Dembele has made a strong case for himself and could secure a starting position.

The PSG winger might replace Antoine Griezmann, who played on the right wing for France in their matches against Belgium and Portugal. According to RMC Sport, the French vice-captain would be the main victim of this tactical adjustment by Didier Deschamps.

Despite being out of form since the start of the tournament, Kylian Mbappe's position is not under threat. To complete the attacking line, Randal Kolo Muani is once again expected to be favored over Marcus Thuram, who experienced a muscle strain after the match against Portugal.
