Paris Saint-Germain are enjoying a sweet start to the season, with four wins from their first four Ligue 1 fixtures, scoring a total of 16 goals. One of the standout players is Luis Enrique's protege, Ousmane Dembele.

We recently discussed a notable accolade earned by Ousmane Dembele, as he, along with Manchester City's star Erling Haaland, topped a significant statistic. The website WhoScored.com revealed that both Dembele and Haaland currently lead the list of players from Europe's top five leagues who have received the most Player of the Match awards, as awarded by the platform itself.

Now, the French winger has again received recognition, this time from the French press, specifically from L'Equipe. This outlet is known for its harsh player ratings, often giving a score of, for example, 4 to Lionel Messi during his time at PSG.

Ousmane Dembele has been named in L'Equipe's Team of the Week for the fourth round of the French league, with a high rating of 8. Interestingly, this is the same rating we gave the Parisian number 10 in our player ratings for the recent match against Brest at Parc des Princes, where PSG won convincingly 3-1.

The former FC Barcelona star has only continued to improve since his arrival at PSG. It's clear that the presence of Luis Enrique, another familiar face from Barca, has helped the Frenchman find better form. Recently, Dembele revealed that Lucho encourages him to shoot more, and Ousmane showcased this in PSG’s latest Ligue 1 match, where he scored a brace.

If he can stay injury-free, as has been the case since joining the Parc des Princes outfit, this could be a historic season for the French winger, who already has 3 goals and 2 assists in 4 matches.
