Former FC Barcelona, BVB star wants to reach peak form with PSG and France

Ousmane Dembele scored last night in France’s victory against Belgium. Despite this, PSG’s number 10 still struggles to consistently find the back of the net, an area he is determined to improve this season.
A dynamic and skillful dribbler, Dembele can challenge any defense and excels at creating opportunities for his teammates. However, to become one of the world's top players, he needs to enhance one crucial aspect of his game—his finishing.
Yesterday, he scored only his sixth goal in 51 appearances for the French national team. At the club level, he has surpassed ten goals across all competitions only four times. In his first season with Paris, he netted just six times.

The former Rennes player is well aware of this area for improvement. After the match against Belgium, Dembele addressed this aspect of his game, explaining that he has been focusing on it since the start of the season and plans to take more chances going forward.
He mentioned that both his PSG coach and teammates have been encouraging him to be more selfish and go for the goal. Dembele said in an interview with TF1:
"I’m often told that I’m too generous and that I look to pass too much. My coach and teammates keep reminding me to take more shots"
Dembele expressed his intention to be more assertive this season and take more opportunities in front of goal. He has been focusing heavily on improving his finishing, dedicating time to drills after every training session to sharpen this particular aspect of his game.
