After the departure of Jocelyn Precheur, the Rouge & Bleu officially appointed Fabrice Abriel as head coach this Monday. The French vice-champions also made another announcement during the day. As mentioned earlier, defender Elisa De Almeida has extended her contract with PSG Women.

Elisa De Almeida extends contract with PSG until 2027
With her contract initially set to expire on June 30, the 26-year-old player signed a new deal extending her stay until June 2027. De Almeida, who joined PSG in 2021 from Montpellier, has been called up to compete in the 2024 Olympics with the French team.
She has become an important part of the Parisian squad, playing in over 90 matches since her arrival and winning two Coupe de France titles (2022 and 2024). On the club’s official website, Elisa De Almeida expressed her joy following the contract extension: “I am delighted to extend my journey with Paris Saint-Germain. This club is like a second family to me, and I am honored to continue wearing the Rouge and Bleu colors. We still have many goals to achieve together, and I am determined to give my best to help the team succeed.”
For its part, PSG stated, “We are pleased with Elisa De Almeida’s contract extension and wish her the best for the upcoming seasons,” as declared in the club’s statement.
