Paris Saint-Germain's Kadidiatou Diani becomes a free agent in the coming weeks with her contract at PSG coming to an end soon. While clubs trying to sign the player were always expected, it seems Barcelona are doing everything they can to win the signature race as early as possible.

According to Bruno Ahoyo, Barcelona seems to be pressing the hardest to sign Diani from PSG to add to their already superstar-loaded squad.

The current UEFA Champions League winners have become the third cub to have reported interest in Diani, as Chelsea and Lyon already have had their names linked to the French player.

What is the probable outcome for Diani?

There isn't any concrete information that confirms where Kadidiatou will play next season, as we know top clubs in Europe would like to add her to their teams. She is coming off a stellar season where she was the D1 Arkema's leading scorer with 17 goals in 17 games.

Diani does seem to have a good connection with PSG and has also expressed her desire to help the club win their first-ever Champions League title next season, which suggests she doesn't plan on leaving the capital just yet.

There hasn't been any news on whether PSG are preparing a new deal to be offered to her talented player once her contract runs out, but it'd be a little bit surprising if they decided to let one of their best players go for nothing.

Considering Diani has spoken about her goals, which are to win trophies in Paris, and with PSG hoping to have a better season next time around and Marie-Antoinette Katoto still not recovered from her injury, the 24-year-old leaving would just be a huge disappointment for the club.

PSG and Diani staying together for the foreseeable future seem like the likeliest outcome and one that you'd say is best for them both.
