2 things that stood out in PSG's victory vs Lyon
By Edward Otto
PSG end a season which will be remembered for the Champions League shortcomings against Dortmund on a high after picking up a record 15th Coupe de France title.
Goals from Ousmane Dembele and Fabian Ruiz put Luis Enrique's side 2-0 up at half time before Jake O'Brien pulled one back for Lyon on the 55th minute to set up a nervy last 35 minutes for Mbappe and co. The French champions kept Lyon at bay for the remainder of the game to prevent what would have been a huge upset.
Here at PSG Post we discuss two things we learned from PSG's triumph.
1. PSG should have won by more
PSG were two goals up at half time but could have been ahead by more if they had taken their chances. In the first minute Les Parisians could have opened their account when Lucas Beraldo headed Ousmane Dembele's corner wide.
Just two minutes later they had another opportunity when Barcola was through on goal but couldn't convert his chance. The flurry of chances didn't just stop their as Achraf Hakimi's crossed it to Zaire-Emery wasn't able to finish. It was only a matter of when not if PSG would score in the first half.

2. Bradley Barcola will thrive when Mbappe is gone
Replacing Kylian Mbappe will be extremely hard but it will be made easier if Barcola continues to perform the way he has recently. In this game he was extremely effective. He should have scored when through on goal in the third minute but fluffed his lines.
The former Lyon winger was involved in the second goal when he put in a cross to Dembele who put a delivery for Fabian. Fabian was originally denied by the keeper but was able to put in his rebound.
