The most talked-about issue in PSG's summer transfer market is likely to be the replacement for Kylian Mbappe. Various names have been mentioned for the left flank of the attack, but that of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia seems to be the one favored by PSG's executives.

To compensate for the departure of Kylian Mbappe, PSG is expected to bet on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The name of the Georgian international has been circulating persistently, and the Parisian club seems to have gone on the offensive to convince Napoli.

Indeed, in this matter, the inflexibility of President Aurelio De Laurentiis is a major obstacle for PSG's leaders. The Italian values his attacker on the same scale as Victor Osimhen and would like to receive a check of nearly 150 million euros for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

This is what La Gazzetta dello Sport claims, mentioning an offer from Paris Saint-Germain amounting to 100 million euros! A colossal amount and normally difficult to refuse when considering that Napoli acquired the Georgian for nearly 13 million euros in 2022 from Dinamo Batumi (Georgia).

Faced with PSG's offensive, the president of Napoli still has in mind the idea of extending his number 77, currently under contract until 2027.

Has PSG already submitted an offer for Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?

As for the player, his agent, Mamuka Jugeli, stated this week in the columns of La Gazzetta dello Sport: "There is no urgency to decide to extend because Naples is Kvhicha's second home. We really appreciate the attention and respect that the club president has for us. If there is an offer that satisfies us, the club, and all parties, without Aurelio De Laurentiis opposing it, then we will discuss it."

A way to open the door to a departure, without closing the door to an extension and a salary increase, and to preserve good relations with the club that unveiled him to the world.

Between Napoli's extension proposal and the 100 million offer from PSG's leaders on the desks of their Neapolitan counterparts, recent reports paint a different picture.

Indeed, according to Loic Tanzi, a journalist for L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain has not yet submitted an offer for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. While our colleague asserts that "negotiations have begun," he also specifies that "the Parisian management values the player at 60M€."

At this price, it is difficult to imagine the operation going through, as President Aurelio De Laurentiis is keen to keep his player and values his market worth above 100 million euros.
