Marco Asensio stars as Paris beat Angers 4-1
By Alan Mezoela
Ahead of the current International break, PSG travelled to the Stade Raymond-Kopa with the opportunity to bounce back from their mid-week Champions League heartbreak against Atlético Madrid.
Aside the long-term injuries, the only missing player in the squad is William Pacho due to personal reasons.
In the absence of the Ecuadorian, Luis Enrique relied on Milan Skriniar to form the centcentre back partnership with club captain Marquinhos. The trio in midfield is composed of Fabian Ruiz, Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu.
The Spaniards chose Asensio, Kang-In Lee and Ligue 1 top scorer Bradley Barcola to lead the front line. The back four was completed with Hakimi and Beraldo with Donnarumma taking place in between the posts.

Coming off a great 1-0 victory against league title contender, AS Monaco, Angers SCO started the game making sure PSG overwhelmingly controlling the ball had no real space to create much danger on their goal while sitting deep in front of their box.
However, a cross from Marco Asensio from the left side of the box found Lee Kang-In as a goal line clearance was not enough to deny the opener to the South Korean (17').
Once the deadlock broken, more space opened for Luis Enrique's side. Just three minutes from the opener, Lee found himself at the end of another cross from Asensio for his brace (20').
The Spaniard came close to add his name on the scoresheet but his shot was saved by Fofana at the near post (27').
The former Real Madrid star then delivered his third assist of the night as he perfectly served Bradley Barcola for his ninth goal of the season in Ligue 1 (31').
Just before half-time, Barcola scored his second goal of the night following a good cross from Lee Kang-In (45'). Both teams headed into half-time as Paris completely controlled the game.
Luis Enrique's side started the second half with two substitutions as Désiré Doué and Yoram Zague replaced Bradley Barcola and Achraf Hakimi.
Quickly into the second half, Angers' fans threw numerous tennis balls onto the pitch over Gianluigi Donnarumma's goal delaying the game for several minutes.
Despite Angers creating more chances off counter attacks, Paris Saint-Germain stayed in control of the game, and Luis Enrique made sure to rotate his squad giving minutes to Randal Kolo Muani and Ousmane Dembélé after the one hour.
Lepaul scored his first ever Ligue 1 goal with a wonderful volley from the edge of the box to reduce their deficit (90').
Randal Kolo Muani came really close to score but his shot went hit the post (90'+5). Just a few moments later, Angers scored their second goal of the night as Biumla header found the back of the net following a corner kick (90'+7).
Les rouges et Bleus will go into International break remaining top of the league with respectively six and nine points AS Monaco and Marseille.
Up next, Les Rouges et Bleus, host Toulouse on Friday, November 22nd on Matchday 12 of the Ligue 1 McDonalds.
