The Parisians will travel to the north of France and face Lille LOSC at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on Matchday 2 of Ligue 1 McDonald's. The current European Champions have learned their opponents for the 2026-2027 League Phase campaign of the Champions League following the draw yesterday will now aim for their first win of the league season against a tough opponent.
The back-to-back Champions League winners will have to do without 2025 Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembélé who has been rested by his coach, Luis Enrique, until Monday due to his poor physical form after a shorten break following the 2026 World Cup.
Here is Les Parisiens' predicted starting XI against Les Dogues.
PSG Predicted Lineup vs. Lille LOSC (4-3-3)
GK: Matvey Safonov - The Russian will start against Lille and will be once again scrutinised.
RB: Achraf Hakimi - The Moroccan will obviously be the one starting against Lille on Matchday 2 of Ligue 1 McDonald's.
CB: Marquinhos - The club captain was awarded the Respect award by the UEFA and will start against Lille.
CB: Willian Pacho - The Ecuador international was not at his best against Rennes but still delivered an incredible goal line clearance in the dying embers of the game to avoid an embarrassing defeat in the Ligue 1 opener against Rennes.
LB: Lucas Digne - With Nuno Mendes still suspended for a red card received against Lens in the Trophée des Champions, it should be between Lucas Digne and Lucas Hernandez for the left-back role. Though, the latter had a decent game against Rennes, it should be Digne that will start against Lille.
CDM: Vitinha - The Portuguese is still looking to get back to his best form this season after an exhausting 2025-2026 campaign.
CM: Fabian Ruiz - The Spaniard delivered a wonderful assist to Ferran Torres, demonstrating his chemistry with his Spain teammate. He should start alongside Neves and Vitinha for this game.
CM: Joao Neves - The Portuguese should make his return in the starting lineup against Lille to help his team get their first win of the season.
RW: Désiré Doué - The Frenchman was one of the rare satisfaction following the draw against Rennes. He is having a good start after a short rest due to the 2026 World Cup, hopefully he can carry this form deeper into the season.
LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - The Georgian had a difficult game against Rennes and was subbed off at halftime alongside Ousmane Dembélé. He should still be included in the starting lineup, though, his coach may give Mika Godts his first start with the club.
ST: Ferran Torres - The Spaniard scored a wonderful brace to rescue an away draw for PSG against Rennes in the league opener. Therefore, he should be the one leading the line against Lille as Paris aim for their first win of the Ligue 1 campaign, while Ousmane Dembélé is rested. Though, Luis Enrique could prefer Maghnes Akliouche, which could be surprising.
