FC Metz vs PSG: Predicted lineup for Ligue 1 game

Paris Saint-Germain is set to face relegation-threatened side FC Metz in their last Ligue 1 game of the year as they look to close the game with RC Lens at the top of the league. Luis Enrique and his side will need to build more momentum while avoiding anymore injuries to end the year and start January as well as possible.

For this upcoming game, the Spaniard coach will see some of his players make their comeback to the squad, including Lucas Chevalier and Lucas Beraldo. However, Marquinhos and Ousmane Dembélé will be side-lined through injury once again.

Here is Les Parisiens' predicted starting XI against FC Metz.

PSG Predicted Lineup vs. FC Metz (4-3-3)

GK: Lucas Chevalier - After two games side-lined through injury and after seeing Matvey Safonov replace him brilliantly, Lucas Chevalier should make his return in the starting XI for PSG.

RB: Warren Zaire-Emery - With Hakimi still recovering from his injury and now preparing for the AFCON with Morocco on home soil, Warren Zaire-Emery is once again set to start at the right-back position.

CB: Illia Zabarnyi - Illia Zabarnyi will be the one partnering Pacho for the trip to Metz, while club captain Marquinhos recovers from a knock to the hip sustained midweek against Bilbao.

CB: Willian Pacho - For the last league game of the year, Pacho should be the one starting next to Zabarnyi, though, his coach might look to give him a rest and give Beraldo a chance to showcase himself as he returns from injury.

LB: Lucas Hernandez - After being suspended for the clash against Bilbao, Hernandez should be the one starting against Metz while Nuno Mendes is rested.

CDM: Vitinha - The Portuguese midfielder is the most important piece of Luis Enrique's midfield and will play a key role once again to secure an important win.

CM: Fabian Ruiz - While Luis Enrique is expected to rotate some his players for this game, Fabian Ruiz shouldn't one of them and should start against Metz.

CM: Kang-In Lee - The South Korean international has been fantastic in recent weeks while many of the usual starters where injured and he should be given another opportunity to shine against Metz.

RW: Désiré Doué - The 2025 Golden Boy should have his first start since his injury on October 29th, though, his coach might prefer Barcola.

LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - The Georgian is set to start against Metz as his side needs a win to hope to close the gap with RC Lens.

ST: Gonçalo Ramos - The Portuguese striker should be the one leading the line against Metz tomorrow and hope to add to his goal tally. However, Luis Enrique could continue to give his trust to Mayulu while Dembélé recovers.
