Four PSG players were called-up to represent the France National team ahead of their Nations League quarterfinals against Croatia next week.

In those four players called-up, Désiré Doué will join the senior squad for the first time of his career. The former Rennes player has been in outstanding form in the last few months with Paris and it seemed like the next step of his journey.

He will be joined by Warren Zaire-Emery, Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola to the French squad in the next international window. Just before, Paris Saint-Germain will face-off Olympique de Marseille in the Classique on Sunday, March 16.

Furthermore, Kylian Mbappé made his return in the squad after missing out the last two selections, while PSG loanee Randal Kolo Muani earned a call-up after his great debut with Juventus.

Following his first call-up, here is what France coach had to say about why he selected Désiré Doué :

"It's all the things he does well or very well with his club. He's not always starting but every time he played, he showed real progress. He is very young, but with his qualities, he is interesting for us. It could have been later, but it happened now because I think that it was the right moment. He won't be able to participate to the Under 21 Euros, because there's the Club World Cup who is prioritised. So it is good that he can be here with us, after everything he has done in the last few months. "
Didier Deschamps, France team coach

Here is the full squad selected by Didier Deschamps:

Goalkeepers: Mike Maignan, Lucas Chevalier, Brice Samba.
