After a frustrating 2-2 draw against Lorient over the weekend, Paris is now set to face Bayern Munich in the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final. The Parisians who managed a short 5-4 home victory last week will be up for a really tough second-leg on Wednesday.
For this clash, Luis Enrique will have to do with Achraf Hakimi and Lucas Chevalier who both sustained muscular injuries following the game against Munich last week. Therefore, Warren Zaire-Emery will likely slot back in a full-back position.
Here is Les Parisiens' predicted starting XI against Bayern Munich.
PSG Predicted Lineup vs. Bayern Munich (4-3-3)
GK: Matvey Safonov - The Russian goalkeeper will once again have a difficult test in front of him when facing Bayern Munich's fiery attack. He conceded four goals in the first-leg and his team will need him to manage a clean sheet if they are to qualify.
RB: Warren Zaire-Emery - The France international will slot back in a full-back position in Achraf Hakimi's absence. His role will be very important as he will have to contain Luis Diaz, as the Columbian posed massive trouble to the Moroccan and Paris' defence in the first-leg.
CB: Marquinhos - The Brazilian will face Bayern Munich and Harry Kane once again in the upcoming second-leg for a spot in the Champions League final.
CB: Willian Pacho - The Ecuadorian had a difficult first-leg against Vincent Kompany's team as he conceded a penalty. He will need to bring his best to secure Paris' qualification.
LB: Nuno Mendes - The Portuguese had a really tough battle on his hands when he faced Michael Olise in the first-leg. The Frenchman was certainly the only winger who gave nightmare to Mendes in the last two seasons and the second-leg will be a must-watch.
CDM: Vitinha - The Portuguese will be at the centre of all things against Munich as the midfield battle is likely set determine the winner of this game and probably the tie.
CM: Fabian Ruiz - The Spaniard will make his first start in the Champions League since coming back from his three-month long injury. While he is not expected to be back at his best yet, he will form the most dominant midfield back again.
CM: Joao Neves - Neves scored a crucial goal last week and proved once how important he is for this team in all aspects of the game.
RW: Désiré Doué - He will likely start, the only doubt would be if his coach prefers to give an opportunity to Bradley Barcola.
LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - The Georgian is certainly the best offensive player of this team at the moment. He has been crucial in the knockout stages so far and more will be expected of him if he side were to qualify for a second straight Champions League final.
ST: Ousmane Dembélé - The 2025 Ballon d'Or scored a brace in the first-leg against Bayern Munich and will lead the line in the second-leg.
