Paris Saint-Germain and Luis Enrique are two days away from making their FIFA Club World Cup debut against Diego Simeone's Atlético Madrid on June 15. During the first edition of this competition, several PSG players will be scrutinised as they will be expected to shine in this tournament.

Here are the three Paris Saint-Germain players with the biggest point to prove as they are set to feature in the Club World Cup.

1. Warren Zaire-Emery

Warren Zaire-Emery is certainly the player with the biggest point to prove during the Club World Cup in this PSG side. Despite featuring in 48 games, while contributing for three goals and two assists for PSG this season, the 19-year-old struggled to get regular and significant playing time from Luis Enrique in the second part of the campaign, coinciding with the most dominant period of the team, whether it was domestically or in Europe.

His ankle injury sustained against Stuttgart was undoubtedly the turning point of his season as Fabian Ruiz became a pivotal piece of Luis Enrique's while the France international was sidelined. The forthcoming FIFA Club World Cup will therefore be the best opportunity for him to shine and possibly regain his starting role as the Spaniard coach is expected to rest some of his usual starters at least throughout the group stage of the tournament.

2. Gonçalo Ramos

The Portuguese forward had a fantastic season, winning several trophies, including the Champions League and the UEFA Nations League alongside his PSG teammates, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes and Joao Neves. However, his role in those teams was mostly coming off the bench, which he did remarkably as he had a great impact for Paris Saint-Germain in their treble winning campaign.

Nonetheless, the 23-year-old striker will certainly hope to have a bigger role in his team in the future and the Ousmane Dembélé's absence for the first three games of the competition could be the perfect opportunity for him to show that he deserves to be more than a super-sub with the French Champions in the future.

This season, Ramos made the most of his reduced game time as he recorded 18 goals and six assists across 41 games and 1.630 minutes played for his club, showcasing his lethal ability in front of goals. Whether it is to attract the interest of another European giant for a move this summer or to earn more minutes next season, it will be crucial for Ramos to perform at his best throughout the competition.

3. Gabriel Moscardo

Gabriel Moscardo had a very difficult season while on loan at Stade de Reims this season. The promising defensive midfileder missed most of the season through several injuries and made only 10 appearances for Reims for a total of 256 minutes played, while featuring in just six league games as his side was relegated to Ligue 2 after losing to Metz in the Playoffs.

After joining PSG last season from Corinthians, the 19-year-old found himself at a crossroad as he already appears to play his future at the club during the Club World Cup. Furthermore, with Luis Enrique expected to rotate his squad during the group stage of the competition, Moscardo will have three games to prove to his coach that he can be part of this star-studded squad next season.
