Just one month after the Club World Cup final, Paris Saint-Germain is opening their season with the Super Cup against Europa League winners Tottenham on August 13 in Udinese.

Following a long 2024-2025 campaign, Luis Enrique's side have not played any friendly games as they focus on resting their players this off-season. The Champions League winners have also added Bournemouth and Ukraine international centre-back Illia Zabarnyi to their club in a € 66 million move.

PSG Team News vs Tottenham Hotspurs

Ahead of the first game of their season, Gianluigi Donnarumma has been left out of PSG's squad in a surprising turn of event. The Italian goalkeeper is now expected to depart the club this summer as his relationship with the club is permanently damaged.

Therefore, Lucas Chevalier, who just recently joined the European Champions from Lille should make his debut in the Super Cup against Tottenham.

Additionally, Presnel Kimpembe and Arnau Tenas have been left out while Joao Neves (suspended) and Senny Mayulu (muscular injury) will also miss the Super Cup. Moreover, Illia Zabarnyi is not included in the team selection as he couldn't be registered in time for the game.
