Following their midweek 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Nantes, Luis Enrique and his side will host OGC Nice on Friday evening ahead of their crucial Champions League semi-final first-leg against Arsenal.

Ahead of the game, the Spaniard coach will once again be able to count on all his players and will have to take important decisions before facing Arsenal in the Champions League in a few days.

Press Conference Transcript:

Q: On staying motivated for Ligue 1 games ahead of crucial Champions League games

Luis Enrique: " It's a special sccenario. I think it is the first time for me and the staff that we are champions so early in a season. So the scenario is particular, but we are happy that there are still records to be broken and that's what motivate us."

Q: On Vitinha's "poor" run of form and if he expect more from him

Luis Enrique: " No. Vitinha is one of the best players in the world at his position, undoubtedly. I do not see two players better than him at his position, in my opinion, in any other side in the world. I could be wrong, but I am rarely wrong."

Q: On how important it is to speak french within the squad

Luis Enrique: " I sincerely think that it doesn't matter what language we speak in the dressing room, it just represent what the world is, a place where we speak many languages. What is important is that the French players also learn other languages, they hear: Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, English, it doesn't matter.

"The more they speak other languages, and the better it is because, it is a demonstration that in the world it is important to speak several languages. I think here we are very lucky, but it is obvious that we are in a French club and in terms of motivation, for me, I will slowly but surely master the language. Speaking the language of the country where I work is a motivation. I will speak more when I will master it.

"I have a great Italian friend, when I was in Rome, he told me, that when we learn a new language, we have a new life because, we understand from a different angle the country, the culture, and it is true. We access more things and that is something that I learned a long time ago and that is important. Which is why I advised my players to to the same."

Q: On the staying unbeaten in the league compared to winning the Champions League

Luis Enrique: " If I have to be honest, if someone guaranteed that we would qualify for the Champions League final if we lost to Nice tomorrow, I accept the loss to Nice. Breaking record is not our most important objective, our objective is to win titles, win trophies, beacuse it is what cement you in history.

"But of course that these are steps towards it, but the most important is the trophy. If they assure me a spot to the Champions League final if we lose to Nice I take it without thinking twice. But because no one can do this, and that we are an ambitious team, that can possibly break this record then we will try our best to do it.

"And for our confidence, I think it is good to get into the game against Arsenal with the best possible spirit, but it is possible that we don't win because the opponents will play well too."
