PSG vs Marseille: Predicted lineup for Trophée des Champions clash

Paris will face Marseille, their biggest rival in the Trophée des Champions in Kuwait. Over the weekend, Paris Saint-Germain secured a narrow 2-1 win against Paris FC in the derby while 9-men Marseille slumped to a dramatic 2-0 home defeat against relegation-threatened Nantes.

For this game, Luis Enrique will have most of his players available with only Achraf Hakimi and Ibrahim Mbaye representing their respective countries at the AFCON while Matvey Safonov and Kang-In Lee are recovering from injuries.

Here is Les Parisiens' predicted starting XI against Marseille in the Trophée des Champions.

PSG Predicted Lineup vs. Marseille (4-3-3)

GK: Lucas Chevalier - The Frenchman is set to face Marseille once again. He will be scrutinise for this upcoming game against the rivals, it will not only be a trophy to play for but also an opportunity to make amends after his costly mistake in their loss in Ligue 1.

RB: Warren Zaire-Emery - The 19-year-old has been amazing this season in his new role for PSG. He will have another opportunity to showcase his rise under Luis Enrique.

CB: Marquinhos - After being rested against Paris FC, the club captain will hope to lift another trophy with PSG against Marseille.

CB: Willian Pacho - Once again, Willian Pacho will start alongside Marquinhos. He had played an important part in their success since joining the club.

LB: Nuno Mendes - The Portuguese international is in great form and seems to have improved even more after a fantastic season last year.

CDM: Vitinha - The former Porto player is having another fantastic year and will look to add another trophy to his collection with Paris against one of their biggest rivals.

CM: Fabian Ruiz - Alongside Vitinha and Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz form the best midfield trio since last season, while injuries have made it difficult for them this season, they will look to start the year with another trophy.

CM: Joao Neves - The Portuguese midfielder has been fantastic this season, stepping up after an already remarkable campaign last year.

RW: Désiré Doué - After a very solid performance in the derby against Paris FC, the French international will likely start in the Trophée des Champions.

LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - It will be either the Georgian international or Bradley Barcola that will start this upcoming game. Both have been rested at the start of their last game and will probably be key players.

ST: Ousmane Dembélé - The 2025 Ballon d'Or should be the one leading the line against Marseille. However, his coach could deem Senny Mayulu ready to start at this position.
