PSG team news

The French champions last game was a narrow 1-2 win away to Lens. Les Parisens struggled again against the same opposition that took them to extra time and pens in the cup. PSG were the more dominant side on the day but struggled to put away a Lens side who kept asking questions.

They don't have injury concerns coming into this matchup as Marquinhos and Achraf Hakimi should come back into the fold after missing the whole of January with an injury and Ousmane Dembele has recovered from his illness ahead of the game.

Predicted PSG lineup vs Man City:

Donnarumma; Hakimi, Pacho, Hernandez, Nuno Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz; Dembele, Doue, Barcola

Man City team news:

Man City need to win as they have had a extremely disappointing Champions League campaign losing to the likes of Juventus and Sporting Lisbon. Pep Guardiola's side also threw away a 3-0 lead against Feyenoord. The job will not be any easier on Wednesday as they will be without Nathan Ake (muscle problem) and John Stones (ankle problem) while Rodri is out with a long term injury.

Predicted Man City lineup vs PSG:

Ederson; Lewis, Ruben Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol; Bernardo Silva, Kovacic, De Bruyne; Foden, Haaland, Savinho

Prediction: PSG 2-1 Man City: Both sides have not played up to their standard in this season's Champions League. Out of the two, Pep Guardiola's side has been more disappointing as they have had easier games in the league phase. The Cityzen's have been inconsistent this season so we can't look past anything other then a narrow PSG victory.
