PSG are preparing for a tough encounter tomorrow night when they host a Lyon side that has had a steady start to the Ligue 1 season. They have won four and drawn two of their seven league games thus far this season. This is a modest record when you factor in that they have had to play a Rennes side who are flying at the top of the table and travel to a Lens team who almost took PSG to the wire in the title race last season. Les Gones results have put them above Les Parisiens on goal difference.

As this will be one of PSG's toughest tests this season, we've put together a preview, prediction, team news, and TV guide for supporters who are interested.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Lyon match preview:

Paulo Fonseca's side enter this encounter like a wounded animal after their 3-0 defeat away to Hoffenheim in the Europa League. This is a bit of a surprise as Hoffenheim are currently 10th in the Bundesliga. If they play like that against Luis Enrique's side, they could be in serious trouble. This contrasts with the European champions who dispatched an in-form Barcelona 4-2 at home on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

Paris Saint Germain team news:

The French champions find themselves in a nightmare situation regarding injuries. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (ACL), Ousmane Dembélé (thigh), Marquinhos (thigh), and Nuno Mendes (muscle tightness) are all on the treatment table. Khvicha's injury is the biggest blow, as it will put him out of action for an extended period of time.

Lyon team news:

Lyon have players who won't make the travelling squad to Paris for tomorrow's game. Mohamed Ouedraogo and Nicolas Tagliafico are dealing with knee injuries while Keito Nakamura is suspended.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup:

Safonov; Zaire-Emery, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Digne; Fernandez, Vitinha, Ruiz; Akliouche, Torres, Doué.

Lyon possible starting lineup:

Descamps; Athekame, Mata, Niakhate, Abner; Morton, Tessmann; Nuamah, Nartey, Tolisso; Sulc.

Prediction: PSG 3-1 Lyon

PSG should have too much for a Lyon side who will come into this encounter fatigued following their midweek exploits in Europe.
