Paris Saint-Germain is set to clash with Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup final after their dominant 4-0 victory over Xabi Alonso's Real Madrid in the semifinal. The victory meant that Luis Enrique's side reached the final of every competition they competed in this season.
Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca's team eased past Thiago Silva's Fluminense in the semifinal thanks to Joao Pedro's brace in his first appearance for the team.

Paris delivered an outstanding performance at the Parc des Princes to take down one of the favourites of the competition in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal.
Ezequiel Lavezzi opened the score after three minutes after a strong start from the hosts, EEden Hazard tied the game from the spot after 27 minutes. David Luiz, then a Chelsea player scored an own goal to give the lead to Paris with 30 minutes left, then Javier Pastore delivered a moment of magic to score PSG's third goal in the dying embers of the game.
March 9, 2016: Chelsea 1-2 PSG

Paris Saint-Germain faced Chelsea in the knockout stage of the Champions League for the third consecutive time and came out victorious, showcasing their ascending trajectory in Europe.
The Parisians travelled to Stamford Bridge with a one-goal advantage following their short 2-1 home victory in the first leg. Knowing how dangerous the Blues could be, they needed a strong start to qualify. Hopefully, Adrien Rabiot opened the score inside 16 minutes for Paris, though, Diego Costa scored less than 10 minutes later to keep his side alive in the tie.
Nonetheless, PSG was better overall and Zlatan Ibrahimovic sealed Chelsea's fate as he scored in the 67th minute to secure a quarterfinal spot to Paris.
