PSG are preparing for its hardest game of the season when it hosts Bayern Munich on matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League. Luis Enrique's side is coming off the back of an unconvincing win against Nice on the weekend. They needed a last-minute Goncalo Ramos header to get over the line at the Parc Des Princes. If they perform like that against the German champions, it is unlikely that they will win the game. The gap between themselves and Marseille remained the same after De Zerbi's side won 0-1 against Auxerre.

Vincent Kompany's side is somewhat of a contrast to Les Parisiens as they have been far more convincing in their domestic league. On the weekend, they extended their winning run to 15 games after winning 3-0 against Bayer Leverkusen courtesy of goals from Serge Gnabry, Nicolas Jackson, and Loic Bade (own goal). The victory was impressive considering that Kompany opted against playing starters such as Michael Olise, Harry Kane, and Aleksandar Pavlovic. The former Man City captain wanted to rest his key players to prevent the likelihood of injury before the PSG game.

Here is our preview of PSG vs Bayern Munich for matchday 4 of the Champions League season.

PSG team news:

Luis Enrique has a near full strength squad to call upon as Illia Zabarnyi is missing the game through suspension while Désiré Doué is out with a thigh injury. Additionally, while there was some concerns surrounding Ousmane Dembélé's presence in the squad, the 28-year-old should be present and could even start against Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich.

Paris Saint Germain possible starting lineup:

Chevalier; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Vitinha, Zaire-Emery, Neves; Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé, Barcola.

Bayern Munich team news:

Jamal Musiala (broken ankle) and Alphonso Davies (cruciate ligament) are still dealing with long term injuries while Hiroki Ito is nearing a comeback from a metatarsal fracture.

Bayern Munich possible starting lineup:

Neuer; Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Bischof; Kimmich, Pavlovic; Olise, Kane, Diaz; Jackson.

Prediction: PSG 1-1 Bayern Munich

Les Parisiens have done well in Europe, beating Barcelona (1-2) and Bayer Leverkusen (2-7) both away from home. This should give them the necessary confidence to provide a good account of themselves against Europe's in-form team. The German giants may be taken by surprise when they face the European champions, as they haven't played anyone as good as them this season. A draw is the most likely outcome for this encounter.
