Paris Saint-Germain is set to open their 2025-2026 Champions League campaign with a highly anticipated clash against Atalanta at the Parc des Princes. Luis Enrique and his team will start their title defence against the Italian side without several of their key players who suffered injuries in the last few weeks.

Over the weekend, Les Parisiens took down RC Lens 2-0 at home thanks to Bradley Bracola's brace, however, they have lost Lucas Beraldo, Kang-In Lee and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during the game through injuries. Though, the Georgian and the South Korean should be part of the group that will face the DEA. Meanwhile, Beraldo is set to be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks because of a sprained ankle.
Here is Les Parisiens' predicted starting XI against Atalanta.
PSG Predicted Lineup vs. Atalanta (4-3-3)
GK: Lucas Chevalier - As usual now, Chevalier will be the one starting for PSG between the posts. The Frenchman has already proved himself a great signing for the European Champions.
RB: Achraf Hakimi - The Moroccan is one of the key players of this squad. His role on the right flank will be crucial for his team as they open their European campaign.
CB: Marquinhos - The Brazilian is set to partner Willian Pacho in the heart of Paris' backline, their partnership was a key element of their success las season.
CB: Willian Pacho - The Ecuadorian is an exceptional player and his partnership with Marquinhos is key for this team.
LB: Nuno Mendes - The Portuguese left-back is a great element in this squad, he should therefore start against Atalanta.
CDM: Vitinha - Vitinha is PSG's playmaker, he is the one setting the tempo of this team and will be important in this game as they look to start their campaign on a good note.
CM: Joao Neves - After missing the first two games of the season, the Portuguese has been in great form since getting back into the fold.
CM: Fabian Ruiz - After being rested at the start of their last game, the Spaniard should start against the Italian side. Though, there is a slight chance that Warren Zaire-Emery gets the nod from Luis Enrique.
RW: Bradley Barcola - Coming off a fantastic brace against Lens, Bracola is set to shoulder much of the offensive load in the absences of Dembélé and Doué.
LW: Ibrahim Mbaye - Whith Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubtful for this game, the young Mbaye should start his first Champions League game. However, with Kang-In Lee set to take part in the game, the South Korean could be the one starting this game.
ST: Gonçalo Ramos - Being the only option at this position, the Portugues is set to start this game.
