PSG have once again been linked with one of their former players, who is now wearing the colours of Chelsea, valued at €60 million.

Paris Saint-Germain is one of the top European clubs when it comes to youth development, as evidenced by their history of producing numerous talents.

Among the standout players developed by PSG are Kingsley Coman, Moussa Diaby, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Christopher Nkunku, with the latter being the focus of this news.

Nkunku left PSG for RB Leipzig in 2019 after being 'wasted' in Paris, often being played by Thomas Tuchel in midfield, despite the Frenchman feeling more comfortable in attack.

In Germany, he shone so brightly that his market value soared to €80 million, and he was eventually signed by Chelsea for €60 million.

Slowly but surely, the 26-year-old attacker is emerging from the nightmare of injuries that has plagued him recently. A player who excelled during his time at RB Leipzig, he is keen to replicate that success at Chelsea. The forward will do everything possible to showcase his quality in attack.

Having been nurtured in the youth ranks of Paris Saint-Germain, the French international has commented on a potential return to the Parc des Princes.

"Playing with Barcola at PSG? I don't know how to answer that. Yes, PSG is still a great club, but there have been no approaches. Nothing," he said, as reported by Spanish outlet AS (h/t Fichajes).

Although PSG boasts multiple attacking options such as Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembele, Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Marco Asensio, Nkunku appears to be the kind of forward that Luis Enrique prefers.

The Spanish manager has favoured versatile players who can operate both centrally and on the flanks, or behind a traditional number nine.
