PSG complete incredible second half comeback win to take Man City down 4-2 in Champions League

Paris completed an amazing comeback, fighting from two goals down and came out victorious 4-2 of their Champions League against Manchester City. Goals from Dembélé, Barcola, Joao Neves and Gonçalo Ramos secured the win for Luis Enrique's men. Moments before, Grealish and Haaland put City in front against the flow of the game.

Paris qualification for the next round of the new look Champions League is in the balance and Guardiola's Man City is in their way with both teams looking to earn all three points to stay in the competition. Luis Enrique will be able to count on all his players, particularly on his captain Marquinhos and on Ousmane Dembélé who missed the last couple of games through injury.

Though Dembélé is back in the squad, the Frenchman will start the game on the bench as the former FC Barcelona coach opted for a front line composed of Barcola, Doué and Lee Kang-In against City. In the midfield, Fabian Ruiz is starting instead of Warren Zaire-Emery.

PSG vs Man City:

After a great start from Paris, Désiré Doué made the first attempt on Ederson's goal on the right wing as Les Parisiens kept the pressure on the Cityzen (5'). Despite Paris' domination on the game, Mna City are able to create chances and came close to open the scoring through Kevin De Bruyne but Donnarumma denied the opportunity to the Belgian and kept both teams level (12'). The first 15 minutes of the game came to a close and Luis Enrique's men are overwhelmingly controlling the ball.

An amazing Gvardiol goal-line clearance kept his side afloat in this game following Ruiz shot on corner (27') with Paris amping the pressure on the Premier League winners. Donnarumma made his second decisive intervention, saving Savinho's shot after a remarkable counterattacks led by Phil Foden (40'). Paris thought they concluded the half in great fashion as Hakimi finally broke the deadlock in this game, but the VAR intervened to disallow the goal (44'). Both teams went into half-time level with Les Rouges et Bleus dominating the game while City operated mainly through counterattacks.

Ousmane Dembélé made his entrance at half-time substituting Kang-In Lee. On City's side, Grealish and Lewis came on while Ruben dias and Savinho came off.

Just after the break, and on their first opportunity, Jack Grealish opened the score for City completly against the flow of the game, on a move initiated by Akanji on the right wing (50'). Paris' European journey is on the balance now more than ever. Less than three minutes after, Erling Haaland doubled City's advantage for the break (53'). Despite a fantastic game so far, PSG find themselves trailing by two goals now. Ousmane Dembélé who came on at half-time, reduced Paris' deficit on a remarkable run and assist from Bradley Barcola giving hope to his side (56').

An amazing comeback in front of us! Barcola put both side level following on a shot from Désiré Doué on the crossbar (60'). Paris just showed great character to comeback into this game as Barcola scored his first goal in this Champions League campaign. Ousmane Dembélé came close to put his side on top, unfortunately his powerful effort found the crossbar in its path, denying the lead to the French champions (70').

Joao Neves completed PSG's incredible comeback with a diving header following a free-kick from Vitinha and likely secured a play-off spot for his team in Europe (78').

In the last 10 minutes of the game, Man City pushed forward, attempting to erase their deficit that see them sitting 25th in the League phase, just outside the qualification spots. In the dying minutes of the game, Gonçalo Ramos scored the fourth goals of his side, the cherry on top of a great performance from PSG (90+5').
