Yoram Zague signs first professional contract with PSG
PSG announced on Friday, August 4, on their website, the signing of Yoram Zague to his first professional contract.
The deal is set to come into effect on July 1, 2024, and will run through June 2027 keeping Zague at PSG for the next four seasons including the next one.
Zague's started his amateur career at AJN Bagnolet before moving on to play at fellow Parisian club and PSG crosstown rival Paris FC.
At the ripe age of 13, Zague made the move to Paris Saint-Germain's pre-Youth Academy, showcasing early promise and convincing the youth coaches of the organization to sign him in a hurry back then. Zague proceeded to climb the Youth Academy ranks of PSG, where he represented the U17 and U19 teams of the club at different points through his development.
Throughout the 2022/23 season, Zague appeared in 18 games in the U19 league, featuring seven times in the UEFA Youth League, and twice in the Gambardella Cup. His contributions on the field were good enough to earn him a pro contract, with five goals and 11 assists across all competitive fixtures he played last year.
