Xavi Simons' contract details revealed

Xavi Simons is no longer a PSV Eindhoven player, and it was even the Dutch club who announced it this Sunday. Fabrizio Romano reports that there are two solutions for Simons. If Kylian Mbappe or Neymar leaves the club during the summer, Xavi Simons will stay at PSG next season. Otherwise, he will be loaned out. According to L'Equipe, a meeting will take place shortly to define the player's future, but the French outlet also assures that "if Mbappe and Neymar stay, Simons will go on loan to an important club that has already been found, but whose name is not known". It will not be at PSV, according to the Dutch press.

However, according to journalist Rik Elfrink, who covers PSV Eindhoven daily for Eindhovens Dagblad, a clause was included in Xavi Simons' contract that he cannot be transferred or sold if PSG's buyback clause is activated.
