Women's World Cup 2023 : Last 16 Round-up and Quarter-Final schedule

The last Round of 16 games of the Women's World Cup have wrapped up, and the final-eight of this year's competition has been decided.

Here is the round-up of the results of the four teams containing the 11 Paris Saint-Germain players.

France (6 PSG Players)

France 4-0 Morocco

Constance Picaud - Did not play.

Sakina Karchaoui - Assisted the opening goal and completed 64 accurate passes until being replaced in the 89th minute.

Elisa De Almeida - Played the full match. Achieved two tackles and 93 accurate passes.

Estelle Cascarino - On the bench and was brought on for nine minutes.

Laurina Fazer - Did not play.

Grace Geyoro - Whole game played and attempted one shot.

Netherlands (2)

Netherlands 2-0 South Africa

Lieke Martens - On the the pitch for 89 minuyes. During her outing she assisted one goal and attempted four shots.

Jackie Groenen - Played the whole 90.

Switzerland (2)

Switzerland 1-5 Spain

Ramona Bachmann - Played the full 90 minutes.

Viola Calligaris - Present for 45 minutes. Won three tackles and completed nine accurate passes.

Denmark (1)

Australia 2-0 Denmark

Amalie Vangsgaard - Played for 82 minutes before being subbed off.

Bachmann, Calligaris, and Vangsgaard now all exit the tournament; they finish their journey with two goals between them (Bachmann MD1, Vangsgaard MD1).

Quarter-Finals schedule

Now, with Switzerland and Denmark failing to book their tickets to the quarter-finals round, PSG have eight players remaining with a chance to become World Champions.

Netherlands (2)

Spain vs Netherlands (Martens, Groenen) - 11th August, Friday.

France (6)

Australia vs France (Geyoro, Karchaoui, Fazer, Picaud, De Almeida, Cascarino) - 12th August, Saturday.

The Netherlands have quite the game ahead as they take on Spain in one of the biggest matchups in the WWC so far. While France must get the better of the hosts, Australia, who have been one of the standout teams thus far.
