Why PSG being linked with Jadon Sancho is good news

Sancho to PSG looks like it is warming up. The 24-year-old moved to Dortmund on loan in the winter transfer window after falling out of favor with Erik Ten Hag.

The England international has since made amends with his club manager which has enabled him to train again with Manchester United after returning for pre-season. Despite this PSG has put in an offer on the table for Sancho. This could be exciting for several reasons.

1. Sancho has shown what he is capable of

The former Manchester City youth player's first stint at Borussia Dortmund proves he can be a brilliant player. In his second season at Dortmund, he had 12 goals and 18 assists in 34 games.

He maintained this high level the following season scoring 17 goals and registering 17 assists in 32 league games and his third season he got 8 goals and 12 assists in 26 league games. The field issues hindered him to a great extent at Man United. If his head can be in the right place he could be a borderline world-class player.

2. Potential Kylian Mbappe replacement

Les Parisans are still looking for an adequate Mbappe replacement. Sancho is worth punting on as he is a brilliant player who is looking to resurrect his career after an underwhelming period at Man United. Sancho and Mbappe are different types of wingers as one is more of a creative player and the other is more of a goal scorer. Despite this Sancho could very well thrive in a new environment.
