Why Bruno Fernandes is unlikely to move to PSG

PSG have recently expressed an interest in Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes. The Red Devils will be reluctant to sell him to the French champions for two reasons.

PSG have registered an interest in Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes. Despite bidding for one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League it is unlikely that any serious move for the Portuguese international will materialise. Here at PSG Post, we discuss why it is doubtful that he will make the move to the Ligue 1 club.

1. Finding a replacement

One of the key reasons why it will be difficult to make Fernandes move away from the Premier League giants is how hard he will be to replace. There are very few attacking midfielders in the market that they could get to replace Bruno Fernandes realistically.

Finding a replacement for him will be more difficult particularly if they are priced out of moves for players such as Xavi Simons. The fact that clubs will know that they are desperate to sign an attacking midfielder will not help either. The Red Devils best bet will be to get a player on loan but that will overcomplicate every deal they do.

2. Man United and PSG may have several deals together

The French champions may be interested in signing the Portuguese international but it remains to be seen whether a move to Luis Enrique's side is plausible. The only scenario where this could be probable is a swap deal with cash for Xavi Simons.

It does not help that PSG is linked with Jadon Sancho and Man United is interested in Manuel Ugarte. The FA Cup winners are currently priced out of a deal for the Uruguayan midfielder while many clubs want Sancho's signature.
