Why an Mbappe less PSG can still be successful next season
By Edward Otto
The upcoming season will be very intriguing for Luis Enrique's side for so many reasons. One of which is that the French champions will be without the services of Kylian Mbappe who joined Real Madrid this summer window. Here at PSG Post we discuss why they can have a good season without their talisman.
PSG still has quality
Luis Enrique has an abundance of quality attackers players at his disposal even without Mbappe. Bradley Barcola was named as PSG's signing of the season recently, Ousmane Dembele is one of the most creative players in the world and returnee Xavi Simons has limitless potential. Despite possessing such quality attackers Les Parisens may still want to invest in attackers. The only problem is that they didn't receive a fee from Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid as he went on a free.

Les Parisens will still the team to beat in France
PSG still have the best team in Ligue 1 without Mbappe. They have won a resounding nine out of the last 11 league titles which speaks volumes of their dominance in French football. This is unsurprising as no other club in Ligue 1 possesses the financial resources as the defending champions. In fact the trophy that they have desired the most under the current Qatari ownership is the Champions League.
PSG will have a chip on their shoulder
Luis Enrique's side will be eager to prove that they can still be a good team even without the services of their talisman. Not having Mbappe will galvanise the squad and give others more freedom to play for themselves instead of for their star player. Nonetheless it will be a tall order as he was the team's best player and is capable of game changing moments.
