Defenders: Juan Bernat, Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos, Danilo, Timothee Pembele

As ridiculous as it sounds, both wing-back starters Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi won't be available for Christophe Galtier on Sunday as the former suffered a season-ending injury and the latter got sent off last weekend, earning a one-match ban.

Unless Galtier decides (or simply is just forced to do so) to change the three-CB formation and use a four-man line because of the injuries and suspensions, the trio of Danilo-Marquinhos-Sergio Ramos should be on the pitch from the get-go.

That means Juan Bernat might return to starting on the left side with the returning (he trained on Friday) Timothee Pembele making the XI on the right flank. Even if the central trio changes, though, the three aforementioned players should remain in the XI in some capacity with the possibility of Danilo moving to a defensive midfield role in a four-man line.

Nordi Mukiele and Presnel Kimpembe, both out for the year, will miss this and all games left, while titi El Chadaille Bitshiabu should rest on the bench along with recent call-up Serif Nhaga.
