Midfielders: Vitinha, Marco Verratti, Carlos Soler

If Galtier keeps playing his best XI until he clinches the title at the very least, then Marco Verratti should start on the lawn of Strasbourg on Saturday as there is no better option in the middle of the pitch available.

Danilo might slide into the midfield with Ramos/Bitshiabu playing a four-man defense, though that's hard to envision if WZE takes on the right-back role. If that's the case, then Carlos Soler shouldn't play. If that's not the case, then it's going to be hard for Galtier to not favor his preferred option when it comes to linking the midfield and the forward line.

The remaining midfield player is probably going to be down to deciding between Renato Sanches and Vitinha. The two players have virtually the same chance of ending up making the XI, and with only two games remaining and the league (almost) won it's fair to assume that Sanches will get a chance or two.

That said, and again going by Galtier's own statements, he should be expected to play his best XI and that should include Vitinha over fellow Portuguese Renato Sanches at least for this game.

Fabian Ruiz is out for the year with a late injury, so the other options on the bench, depending on the lineup chosen by Galtier, would go through Ismael Gharbi and Renato Sanches in this predicted case.
