Midfielders: Danilo, Fabian Ruiz, Warren Zaire-Emery, Vitinha

Marco Verratti will miss this game recovering from a nagging injury. Nothing to be too worried about, but enough to rule him out of Saturday's clash.

With Verratti out, Danilo will man the defensive midfielder position in some sort of halfback role splitting Ramos and Marquinhos and playing the pivot as the most capable man with the ball on his feet.

The rest of the midfield will be built around three players, with an abundance of options (incredible, yes) available for Galtier to choose from. Fabian Ruiz should be a must-start player because he's the only truly veteran/reliable player available.

Rumors had it Renato Sanches will start again at Nice, but considering the horrible game he had against Lyon a week ago I just cannot see that happening. Again, I'd bet on (perhaps better said, I wish) youngster Warren Zaire-Emery getting the nod over the Portugal international.

Vitinha should fill the remaining open slot by default, unless Galtier goes with the surprising move and picks the returning Carlos Soler, back in the gameday squad after missing the game against Lyon. I don't think that'll happen, but Soler was one of the Galtier's men earlier this season so there is still a chance he starts or at least plays for a long period off the pine.
