Defenders: Nuno Mendes, Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos, Nordi Mukiele
With the doubts surrounding Achraf Hakimi because of the rape accusations he's facing, and the season-ending injury to Presnel Kimpembe, it's slim picks in the defense of PSG.
Galtier could count on Nuno Mendes and Nordi Mukiele against Marseille and they only came off the pitch well into the second half. Expect them to start once more this weekend, assuming Hakimi forfeits this one recovering for the matchup at Munich next midweek. The only alternative would be to use Juan Bernat on the left side if Galtier decides to give Mendes some rest.
The formation would probably be a hybrid between a 3-4-3 and a 4-3-3, depending on how deep/advanced Danilo sits in the middle of the pitch. With Kimpembe out, though, and no other reserve alternative than youngster El Chadaille Bitshiabu, expect Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos to start no matter what in the middle of the line.
Danilo might slide into the defensive line if it's a three-man unit, and that might have Marquinhos playing more of a central/pivot role with Danilo to his left and Ramos to his right, but that trio is most probably a must for Galtier to use in this game without regards of how they are positioned.
