PSG returns to the Parc des Princes for the 26th game of their Ligue 1 campaign, hosting Nantes on Saturday, Mar. 4. After beating OM last Sunday (0-3) and Lille (4-3) before that, Paris Saint-Germain will try to win a third league game in a row for the first time in the 2023 calendar year.
The team welcomed back a couple of players for the matchup at Marseille last weekend but they also lost Presnel Kimpembe for the remainder of the season. The availability problems for coach Christophe Galtier also include the ongoing investigation of Achraf Hakimi, who could miss this game (he also has been nursing an injury).
All of the above, along with the second-leg matchup at Bayern Munich next Wednesday, might put Galtier in a situation in which he prefers to make some rotations against minnows Nantes (13th in Ligue 1) while reserving some key figures for the upcoming Champions League clash.
Here we take a look at how PSG could line up for the game against Nantes on Saturday as part of the 26th match day of the Ligue 1 season.
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma
One more week, one more game for Donnarumma under the Parisian goalposts. He is coming off an extraordinary performance against Marseille a week ago, albeit it is also true that he was on a lower-volume demand. He saved the shots he faced and didn't have to rely on his feet to generate play, which is something PSG would love to see happen weekly.
