Who is in the PSG predicted lineup for the game vs. Auxerre?
Forwards: Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Hugo Ekitike
Kylian Mbappe will try to put some distance between him and Alexander Lacazette in the top-goalscorer standings as both Frenchmen enter the weekend with 26 goals apiece. The Lyon forward matched Mbappe with his goal on Friday, but Mbappe will have a chance at going solo ahead of the veteran striker on Sunday trying to win his fifth top-goalscorer title.
Hugo Ekitike should start this game as the lone pivot/striker in PSG's formation next to Mbappe with Lionel Messi dropping a bit deeper. Galtier pretty much confirmed the presence of the youngster in the lineup when he spoke to the media on Friday, so expect Ekitike to play from the get-go on Sunday.
Lionel Messi returned from his two-week suspension seven days earlier than expected but his performance last weekend was hardly impactful and truly forgettable. This will be Messi's third-to-last game at PSG, and the second-to-last chance for supporters of other teams to enjoy the Argentine as he only has two games left (including at Auxerre) on the road, followed by the Ligue 1 season finale at the Parc des Princes already into June.
