Midfielders: Marco Verratti, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz

Marco Verratti was expected back for PSG against Nice, then against Lens, and now against Angers. We will see if he ends up playing or if another last-minute problem comes up and sends him back to the shelves. He is expected to start at the time of this writing on Friday morning, but you never know with Verratti...

Vitinha is coming off his best game of the season and will definitely play against the worst team in the league, even more if Verratti makes it to the pitch as the pairing often works best together.

The biggest question of the lineup for Friday's matchup is who will be slotted in the remaining open midfield position. You can't go wrong with any player as PSG will be facing an absolutely dreadful opponent, so it won't matter that much. However, it should be time to give Warren Zaire-Emery some developmental minutes of play. That won't happen while Galtier is the manager of PSG, though.

Fabian Ruiz is probably starting unless the coach decides to go with his main man of confidence Carlos Soler. Galtier mentioned that he wants his midfielders to "project forward" so under those parameters using Soler should fit that strategy better than deploying Ruiz. I'm still betting on Ruiz because Galtier is a boring manager and will just leave it all for Messi and Mbappe to solve.
