Currently, PSG is left without four essential players in its team. Three of them are injured and receiving treatment in Paris, while Kang-In Lee has not yet returned from the Asian Games in which he participated with his national team.

Le Parisien newspaper has provided updated details on the current situation of these players and their eventual return to the PSG team.

  • Marco Asensio and Kang In Lee are scheduled to return after the break that will be held on the FIFA date, after the match that will be played this October 8 vs. Rennes.
  • After undergoing surgery, Nuno Mendes is expected to return to competition around the end of February 2024.
  • Presnel Kimpembe has had a great improvement regarding his injury and he could return to the courts between the end of October and the beginning of November.

PSG receives this news with great satisfaction, since in this very demanding season, with a busy calendar, it is crucial to have a large squad.

This allows strategic rotations to be carried out that benefit each player and adapt to the competition in which they participate. In this way, it is ensured that each footballer gains experience in the various tournaments of the 2023/2024 season.

A large part of the Parisian fans are eager to see how a player as powerful as Nuno Mendes can adapt to Luis Enrique's system, considering that Lucas Hernandez has taken over the starting position at left back and left center back.

Many are also waiting for the return of Marco Asensio, who before his injury had performed even better than other important attacking pieces.
