PSG sealed their spot in the Champions League semifinals after an exhilarating clash with FC Barcelona, securing a 6-4 aggregate victory in a match brimming with action and suspense. The encounter, held on Catalan soil, unfolded with moments of intense drama from the very beginning.

The Parisian side surged ahead in the 40th minute courtesy of a goal from Ousmane Dembele. However, Barcelona swiftly retaliated, with Raphinha finding the back of the net in the 12th minute, assisted by Lamine Yamal.

Yet, the deadlock proved short-lived as Vitinha struck for PSG in the 54th minute, followed by Kylian Mbappe converting a penalty in the 61st minute.

Barcelona's fortunes further dwindled when Ronald Araujo received a red card in the 29th minute for a foul on Bradley Barcola. Tensions escalated on the field, culminating in the expulsion of Barcelona's coach, Xavi Hernández, due to a series of altercations with the referee and UEFA officials.

Despite Barcelona's valiant efforts to stage a comeback, PSG sealed their triumph with another goal from Mbappe in the 88th minute.

With this resounding victory, the Parisian outfit advances to the semifinals of the Champions League, marking a significant milestone in their campaign and exorcising the demons of their previous defeat to Barcelona in the same stage of the tournament back in 2017.
