Warren Zaire-Emery, very disappointed but not dejected, appeared before the Canal+ microphone after Newcastle vs. PSG (4-1).

PSG lost hard at Newcastle (4-1) this Wednesday night. How is it possible that the Parisian club has failed?

“It's not a failed game, but we made a lot of mistakes. They played with their qualities and reached us very high. We knew we were going to have a difficult game. We will have to review our mistakes to improve and become the strongest team possible.”

What went wrong tonight? Is it more tactical or mental?

"I do not know yet. We need to review the mistakes we made to improve.”

You are still young despite an experience unprecedented for your age. In your opinion, did the public play an important role in the result?

“It is not a question of age but of personality. The public was very strong with them, they made noise, yes. But I don't think that should impress us or even destabilize us.”

Are you worried about the rest of this group stage?

“I'm not worried at all. It's only the second game, we have a lot left. It is up to us to do things well to finish first in this group.”

The young Frenchman was one of the few that stood out for PSG in this match, and he continues to prove his worth game after game. However, it is Luis Enrique who will have to take note and analyze if he is strong enough for him and Ugarte to be the only pieces in the Parisian midfield.
