Verratti, Kimpembe, and Nordi Mukiele ruled out Monday
Paris Saint-Germain provided a medical update ahead of Monday's game against Pays de Cassel, part of the French Cup Round of 32. Three players have been ruled out of PSG's next matchup.
According to PSG's official report, the trio of Nordi Mukiele, Marco Verratti, and Presnel Kimpembe won't be available for coach Christophe Galtier next Monday against sixth-tier Pays de Cassel.
Mukiele injured his hamstring in the game against Rennes (he played 56 minutes before getting subbed off) and will remain out for the next few weeks.
Marco Verratti, Nordi Mukiele, and Presnel Kimpembe won't be available for PSG on Monday
Verratti is expected to rejoin the group in training sessions next week, after the game against Pays de Cassel on Monday. The Italian should be fit for the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 on Feb. 14.
Kimpembe keeps having issues recovering from a never-healing injury in his Achilles. He keeps working individually and he should resume collective training in "eight to ten days," according to coach Galtier.
There were doubts about the availability of Achraf Hakimi on Monday's game but he should be good to go as his absence from Saturday's training session was expected by the coaches and training staff of PSG. Le Parisien informed about the Morocco international situation early on Saturday.
