Troyes vs. PSG - Grades: Defenders

5 - Sergio Ramos: Won some duels and just had a good/nice/fine game in a matchup that was never going to demand a lot from his aging legs and aching elder body. One more in the resume.

5 - Danilo: Manned the left side of the three-center-back line as has been the case for a lot of games this season because of the injuries suffered by different members of the Parisian defense. Not the greatest sequence in Troyes' goal, but it's Danilo so we will never blame him for anything he does, or does not.

5 - Marquinhos: Struggled with some reads throughout the first half, like midway through it, but solid overall in a no-demand game. Contributed to the play leading to PSG's second goal, which is another positive.

6 - Bernat: His one-two with Mbappe results in the first opportunity for Ekitike as early as just two minutes into the game. Things would get even better for him after that, as he was surprisingly threatening all game long going forward.

7 - Zaire-Emery: Man of the Match? MotM! You wouldn't say this man can't buy a drink watching him play on Sunday, from the start, in a position that is not his natural one. But here we are, and so good is WZE. The best prospect to hit the first team of PSG in ages and quite a promising one delivered the goodies when given the confidence by Galtier. Here's hoping he can retain a place in the starting XI, wherever it is.
