Thierry Henry has unveiled its lineup in preparation for the upcoming clashes against Denmark and Slovenia on September 7 and 11 respectively.
The France underagers' head coach has picked 23 players for these games, notably including U17 Warren Zaire-Emery of Paris Saint-Germain as a member of a team featuring players four years older than the PSG gem.
This decision echoes the effusive praises that came from the former Arsenal striker during his inaugural press conference held just the day before. Henry's admiration for Zaire-Emery's prowess is evident in his remarks.
"I've been keeping an eye on him for a while. His impact is astounding, particularly his physical presence. Watching his recent match (PSG-Lens), his ability to wrest the ball from opponents is remarkable. He faced challenges, but it was they who hit the ground. A remarkable player and it's a delight that he's French," lauded the 1998 world champion.
The roster also boasts other rising stars, including Andy Diouf and Elye Wahi from Lens, and Rennes' Arnaud Kalimuendo. Bradley Barcola, on the cusp of finalizing his deal with Paris Saint-Germain, has also received a call to join the squad.
