With Kylian Mbappe's departure, PSG will need to strengthen this summer. The name of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could return to the Parisian headlines. His agent has mentioned PSG's interest in his player.

Kylian Mbappe, whose contract ends on June 30th, has decided to leave PSG on a free transfer. The striker announced his departure to his president and teammates a few days ago. To replace him, PSG would not want to rely solely on one big star.

Since the disclosure of the French international's decision, several names have been linked to the capital club. Victor Osimhen, Mohamed Salah, or even Rafael Leao. The name of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, previously reported to be in the sights of Parisian leaders last summer, has not emerged yet.

"Everything will be clearer in May"

The Georgian international (23 years old), who had a very successful season last season with Napoli (43 matches, 14 goals, 17 assists) and was voted Serie A's best player, has struggled a bit more in this 2023-2024 season with six goals and five assists in 33 matches.

In an interview with the media Championat, his agent, Mamuka Dzhugelia, mentioned the interests of clubs like PSG and FC Barcelona in his player. "Of course, there are offers from big clubs. Look at him! How could it be otherwise? Everything will be clearer in May."

The departure of Mbappe leaves a significant void in their attacking lineup, prompting the club to explore various options to bolster their offensive firepower. With the transfer window approaching, PSG's management is undoubtedly working tirelessly to identify suitable replacements and secure the necessary signings to fortify their squad for the upcoming season.
